Saft medium prismatic MP and cylindrical small VL rechargeable cells are based on our unique lithium-ion technology. They boast high nominal capacities and long cycle-life, but more innovatively, they can be charged and discharged over a wide temperature range, especially at low temperatures.
The MP and VL lithium-ion batteries include specific, redundant safety features – electronic protection circuit, state-of-charge (SOC) and state-of-health (SOH) indicators, built-in circuit breaker in case of a charger fault, shut-down separator, and safety vent – that make them ideal for demanding applications.
